Residency ApplicationA candidate for the Cook County Urology Residency must be a prospective graduate of an AOA/AMA Accredited College of Medicine. The candidate must present official transcripts from the College of Medicine of their graduation, three (3) letters of recommendation, and Dean’s letter as well as complete an online application through ERAS.
Resident Selection/Program Duration Applications shall be submitted to the Program Director of the Cook County Urology Residency via ERAS. A committee including the chairman, and program director will review the applications and interview the selected applicants. Applications are accepted from the fourth year medical student level. The selected candidates will be ranked by consensus whenever possible, with the final rank list determination by the chairman and program director. Once a candidate is selected, the Director of Medical Education will be notified. The resident who is selected will sign a one year contract with the understanding that the appointment is on a one year basis and subject to annual renewal for the term of the residency program. |
